Program Coordinator – Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF)


Position:                                 Program Coordinator – Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF)

Reports to:                             Vice President of Membership & Development

FSLA Status:                         Exempt

Work schedule:                     Standard office hours (8am-5pm), 4-5x month evenings required

Travel expectation:               Minimal

Position summary:               This isn’t your average desk job. As the YPF Program Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of Fond du Lac’s next-gen talent scene—leading one of the most dynamic networks in the region: Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF).

You’ll connect passionate people, plan events people actually want to attend, and help build a stronger, more vibrant community. If you're energized by building connections and creating moments people won’t forget, this role is for you.

 


What You’ll Actually Do

Bring People Together
From professional panels to the high-energy Amazing Race, you'll create meaningful, fun, and engaging opportunities for people to connect, learn, and grow.

Plan and Execute Events That Spark Joy
You’ll take the lead on all things YPF, including standout experiences like:

  • Casino Night: Glitz, glam, and fundraising flair
  • Future 5 Awards: Honoring our area's rising stars
  • Focus Forward: Helping young professionals take their next steps
  • Amazing Race: A competitive downtown scavenger hunt full of surprises

Support Other Big-Time Events
Beyond YPF, you’ll pitch in on Envision’s signature programs like our Annual Golf Outing, Annual Meeting, and other large-scale events that bring the whole community together.

Encourage Involvement
Welcome new faces and keep the momentum going with outreach, creative engagement ideas, and making sure no one gets left on the sidelines.

Build and Strengthen Community Relationships
Partner with businesses, leaders, and volunteers to elevate the YPF experience. You’ll be a trusted connector and a familiar face around the region.

Keep Innovating
From fresh program ideas to the latest trends in leadership development and networking, you’ll have room to bring creativity to the table.

Position Breakdown 

  • 35% – Event Planning & Execution
    • Planning, coordinating, and executing events like Casino Night, Future 5 Awards, Amazing Race, and assisting with major Envision events like the Annual Meeting and Golf Outing. This includes logistics, vendor coordination, setup/teardown, and post-event follow-up.
  • 25% – Communication & Outreach
    • Phone calls, emails, and messaging with members, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners. Includes crafting newsletters, writing social media content, and responding to inquiries about YPF programming.
  • 20% – Networking & Community Engagement
    • Attending community events, YPF socials, and leadership meetings. Building relationships with young professionals, community leaders, and local businesses to expand program visibility and participation.
  • 10% – Program Development & Strategy
    • Creating new initiatives, evaluating current programming, working with the YPF Leadership Team, and identifying opportunities for member growth, partnerships, or innovation.
  • 10% – Administrative & Miscellaneous
    • Data entry, CRM updates (e.g., GrowthZone), prepping materials, internal meetings, tracking metrics, and other general tasks that support day-to-day operations.
