Fond du Lac School District Community Education &
Recreation Department
Lifeguards needed at the Outdoor Pools and/or indoor Aquatic Center.
- Must have a recognized Lifeguard Certification
- May be required to demonstrate lifeguard skills and rescues
- Make sure pool is a safe facility by enforcing rules and regulations
- Responsible for supervision and safety of pool guests
- Supervise open swim sessions, lessons, lap swim and water walking session
- Hours
- 30 – 40 hours per week, including weekends
- Pay Rate
- Guards - $12.50/hour at hire
- $.50/hour increase per year
- Lifeguard Supervisors - $16.00/hour at hire
- $.75/hour increase per year
- All guards working outdoors receive an additional $1/hour upon working 150 or more hours with successful performance
- Bonus: Free YMCA membership (summer only)
- Guards - $12.50/hour at hire
The Fond du Lac Recreation Department will be hiring Lifeguards to work at the Outdoor Pools and/or indoor Aquatic Center for the summer.
