You got the promotion. Now the people you used to sit next to at lunch are the people you manage. Nobody really tells you how to handle that.

This session is built around the two things that trip up almost every new leader in exactly that spot: having the hard conversation with someone who used to be your equal, and figuring out how to actually use your new authority without avoiding it or overdoing it. This isn't about handing you information you already half-know. It moves from knowing something's off, to understanding why, to actually doing something differently, your plan, not someone else's script.

You'll leave knowing which of the two is actually tripping you up, not guessing, with one real next step, and a way to walk into that hard conversation with more clarity, your plan, not someone else's words.
