Head on down to Festival Foods in Fond du Lac to celebrate the completion of the Project G.R.I.L.L. program for the 2025-2026 school year! Project G.R.I.L.L. stands for Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading. This program is designed to introduce high school students to the career opportunities available in manufacturing and skilled trades within the greater Fond du Lac area, ultimately working towards creating an expansive workforce to sustain the success we are cultivating today.

Through this hands-on educational experience, teams of students from area high schools partner with local manufacturers to design and build functional grills. During this journey, the students will learn all the aspects associated with taking a product from concept through production. Students learn the valuable skills such as project management, communication, and budgeting, along with trade skills such as CAD, prototyping, and welding.

Come celebrate the 18th successful year of this program by seeing the creative and well-crafted grills on display! Then head over to the Brat Barn and enjoy a brat or a burger as well! The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m. so you don’t want to miss out! And – don’t forget to vote for your favorite grill! One school will win the Community Choice Award because of your enthusiasm! We’ll see you at Festival Foods on May 8, 2026!
