Managing Across Generations: Communicating and Leading Teams with Diverse Age & Experience" explores how generational diversity shapes team dynamics, communicating styles, and leadership effectiveness. Participants will learn how to recognize generational patterns without falling into stereotypes, develop adaptable leadership strategies, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams across age and experience levels. Focus will be placed on understanding the core values and workplace expectations across four generations (Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z), recognizing communication preferences and potential friction points, and developing strategies for inclusive leadership through self-reflection and practice with real-world scenarios. 

Presenter: Robyn Williams is a licensed professional counselor who has worked in the mental health field for over twenty years as a therapist and school-based counselor. In that time, she has promoted mental health awareness and wellness to people of all ages, working with clients at Catholic Charities, the Marian University Counseling Center, and most recently, the Camelot Drive office of SSM Health. Having lived in Fond du Lac for most of her life, she feels a connection to the community here and enjoys presenting on topics that contribute to interpersonal effectiveness and overall psychological wellbeing.
