Presenter: Carrie Rule

I’m not your typical emotional intelligence coach. I didn’t come to this work through a psychology degree or a textbook on EQ. I came to it by living it and by asking deeper questions, sitting with discomfort, and relentlessly exploring how we become more self-aware, more grounded, and more compassionate humans in a rapidly changing world. My research and experience haven’t been focused on emotional intelligence in the traditional sense. Instead, I’ve immersed myself in the building blocks of EQ: Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Self-motivation and Empathy And I’ve done it by stepping outside the usual lanes. My learning has taken me into quantum physics, biology, neuroscience, and somatic wisdom. I’ve participated in cutting-edge conversations and research inspired by Otto Scharmer’s Theory U and the concept of 4th-person knowing. I’ve studied with the Harvard Humanistic Leadership Academy, diving into what leadership could look like when it’s built around wholeness, dignity, and human flourishing. I’ve explored emotional intelligence not just in theory, but in practice, through one-on-one coaching, immersive group learning, and powerful equine-facilitated experiences that bring emotion, awareness, and communication into the body in a whole new way.
